Turkish Airlines could be operating A380s by the summer.  The fast growing airline has been making enquiries about wet-leasing four of the superjumbos.

The A380 leases – aimed at supporting Turkish’s Chinese operations – would be from another airline.

Operators typically require two to three A380s to serve a given city pair, with the number depending on the distance of the flight and how fast an airline can turn around the plane.
